4 REASONS WHY THE ARMOR CAR IS HAUNTED
Life was grim at the Uganda Revenue Authority house when the armored car hovered inside the beauty of land Uganda.
I didn’t want to poke my nose into politics, I wanted to understand why the armor car is haunted
The hoot was scary, it shook the rotten system in the land of beauty Uganda; and the masses wailed a woeful whine for the tormentors are coming.
“There is another group of comrades who kick-started a fundraising campaign for a bullet proof vehicle. These comrades informed me of their plan, but I thought it will be an uphill task, given how expensive it is. A few weeks ago, these comrades surprised me when they informed me that they had succeeded in raising enough money for the vehicles ,and here it is. I can’t thank you enough.”
The dashboard was glittering like gold, standing beside his car, passers could barely see through the dark window mirror. The passenger’s seat was clean and neat.
I wanted to touch….
Everyone wanted to touch,
The motor cyclists could tell it all “it has come with wi-fi”, and the shock absorbers can cry.
Did you see the indicators? oh my God, the indicators when blicks red or yellow even blue, green or white, it calls your name.
His fun, dressed on a black jean pair of trousers and navy blue t-shirt couldn’t help it but lean his round head with coiled dark hair on the armor car, if he could at least listen to the sound of the engine.
I happen to follow the armor car on it’s way to Parliament of Uganda, and the sound of screeching tires was soon followed by the deafening sound of a car horn from the Ugandan law and order enforcement. He was a towering presence on his arrival at the legislative assembly .
. . . . . . . . ……………………………………
The armor car is not an ordinary car that an ordinary person can have, we all dare to dream to own a car, but this car as I glanced at it, the black color appearance and glass like tyre that reflects lights light on its movement made the hairs on my whole body stand up.
- The armor is owned by someone who has built a movement, defying expectations. Bobi Wine has repeatedly been underestimated by government supporters and critics since he first ran for parliament. He was forced to run as an independent after the two major opposition parties, the Forum for Democratic Change and the Democratic Party, turned him away.
They saw Bobi aspire as a member of parliament and viewed him as a throttlebottom, the National Resistance Movement never imagined that the inept Robbi they thought would weaken their political movement turning to venge and anger on the innocent Ugandan lives desperate for a liberator like Bobi Wine.
He nevertheless easily won the by-election in the Kyandondo East constituency within Kampala with 78% of the vote. Since then, he has proved himself to be a skilled politician who has successfully built a strong political movement — from scratch.
Within his first two years in office, he forged a reputation as a principled and fearless opponent of Museveni’s policies. He was a leading voice against the president’s ultimately successful effort to remove presidential age limits from the constitution. He also led protests against the government’s proposed tax on social media in July 2018
2. The armor car is haunted because Robbi, was a presidential aspirant .He believes with the huge number of the masses support, won the 2021 general elections and he was cheated, I think the government is scared by the wave of change that is about to strip it off the state house. President Museveni’s slogan Securing your future reminds me of the political term empleomania. The government in power can not imagine Robbi acquiring such as expensive car, yes, they were tasked to investigate the very car that slipped under their nose to Robbi’s compound for the second time , this was after he paraded the car saying thank you to the masses who managed to raise money to buy him this car due to the incidents of 2020 presidential campaign where he almost scrambled to live bullets straight from the Ugandan law and order enforcement
3. The armor car belongs to a young opposition politician who besides being famous for his music career, rose to the political limelight in 2017 in the by-election win. In his before life as a musician, Robert was a ghetto president whom all the ghetto kids and youths looked up to, he did not only inspire them in the music industry but he awakened the Giant spirit of the oppressed Ugandans who want to transform their old Hierarchy into a new Presbytery, and this againe into a newer Independency; and their well-tempered Monarchy into a mad Kinde of Kakistocracy which has threaten the power of the incarbament and weaken other opposition movements in Uganda .
4. The armor car is owned a person who is a target for unpredicted state repression. Bobi Wine has been a regular target of state repression.
The Museveni government responded to his early successes by repeatedly blocking him from holding concerts and banning the public from wearing People Power’s trademark red berets. They associated this to threat to peace and security of the state, they even went ahead and raided the National Unity Platform offices in search for guns and state machineries.
Since being elected, Bobi Wine has been arrested countless times. He has never been convicted on any of the charges. Some of his movement’s members and supporters have been killed, sometimes in suspicious circumstances.
This brings you to his newly acquired armor car which is a bullet proof that is being haunted by the Uganda Revenue Authority saying that Robbi’s car owes taxes to URA. The state is trying all it’s best to rule and repress not only Bobi Wine because Ugandans believe he is the best ruler and understands their language by using all the institutions like URA to silence the masses who are dying in the hope for freedom.
I didn’t want to poke my nose into politics, I wanted to understand why the armor car is haunted, but I think we need change in the governance comrades.
“It is not possible to rule well without having been ruled. Democracy arose from men’s thinking that if they are equal in any respect they are equal absolutely.” Aristotle
